Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350° F (175° C). Lightly spray a 8” x 8” (20 x 20 cm) pan with vegetable oil.
2. Sift Epicure's Pure Cocoa, flour, Epicure's Baking Powder and salt into a medium mixing bowl. Set aside.
3. In large bowl, beat together butter and sugar. Whisk in egg whites, applesauce and Epicure's Vanilla Extract.
4. Stir flour mixture into wet mixture until just combined.
5. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 35–40 minutes. Cool in pan and cut into squares.
